On your iPhone or iPad, open Safari (not Chrome or another browser — it must be Safari for the install to work).
2
Go to the MyHR app
Navigate to hr.crackinevents.co.uk/pwa-dashboard.php and sign in with your credentials if prompted.
3
Tap the Share button
Tap the Share button ⬆ at the bottom centre of the screen — it looks like a square with an arrow pointing upward.
4
Tap "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen. The MyHR icon and name will appear — tap Add in the top right corner.
5
Make sure "Open as Web App" is on
Before tapping Add, check the Open as Web App toggle is switched ON (green). This makes it run like a native app without the browser bar.
💡 If you don't see this toggle, update to iOS 16.4 or later.
6
Open from your Home Screen
Find the MyHR icon on your home screen and tap it. It will open as a full-screen app with no browser bar, just like a native app.
7
Enable notifications when prompted
When you open the app for the first time, tap Enable Notifications on the prompt that appears — this lets MyHR send you alerts for shifts, leave approvals and more.
1
Open Google Chrome
On your Android device, open Google Chrome. The install option works best in Chrome — other browsers may not support it.
2
Go to the MyHR app
Navigate to hr.crackinevents.co.uk/pwa-dashboard.php and sign in with your credentials if prompted.
3
Tap the menu or install banner
Chrome may show an Install app banner at the bottom — tap it. If not, tap the three-dot menu⋮ in the top right corner of Chrome.
4
Tap "Add to Home screen"
From the menu, tap Add to Home screen or Install app. A prompt will appear — tap Install or Add to confirm.
5
Open from your Home Screen
Find MyHR on your home screen or app drawer and tap it. It will open as a full-screen app without any browser bar.
6
Allow notifications when prompted
Android will ask if you want to allow notifications — tap Allow. This enables shift alerts, leave updates and HR messages to reach you instantly.
